A Parade to Remember

Wendy Lee Paquette

Illustrated by Kim Rumbolt

A Parade to Remember was written to teach the Canadian time-honoured tradition of Remembrance Day and the importance of recognizing and supporting

Canadian Armed Forces veterans. It has been selected to be a part of the Canadian War Museum's permanent research collection, making it a piece of Canadian history as well as an important teaching tool.

With each purchase, a portion will go to the Canadian Legion.

Softcover, 28 pages  8 x 8.5"

This was written as a teaching tool for children to learn the importance of Remembrance Day customs and traditions observed annually by Canadians through the eyes of a young girl named Lou Lou, as she learns her grandfather is a veteran.

The illustrations capture the innocence of the characters, and the essence and importance of celebration, honouring and commemorating all war veterans.
